I did not expect much more from the movie than a sideline to be elaborated to a full movie length time. Luckily I was proven completely wrong. Not only the whole censure vs library forces war got farther than in the series, but there was actualy a closure to it all.
But if one really start to think about such a future, where Japan introduces such measures of censure, even without countermeasures of armed librarians, writers and books would simply just migrate and banned works would be read online.
Yet all fictions need the reader/watcher to accept the pretense, so eith that in mind Toshokan Sensou: Kakumei no Tsubasa along with its psrent series is worth to watch, even though it wilk not leave you heartbroken, mindblown or awestruck once finished. A strong 7.5/10
