Kokurikozaka kara or as it’s also known From Up on Poppy Hill was just one would expect a Ghibli story to be: on the first look a child’s story for children then a child’s story for bigger children and later on a child’s story for adults. I found it really moving, though a bit cliché that the dream pair turns out to be sibling and then turns out not to be sibling. Still how the story was told was really heartwarming and really worth the one and the half minutes spent on watching it. The songs were earworm-ish, the graphics (trademark Ghibli style) were almost as awesome as if Makoto Shinkai would have done it so I’d rate it about 9/10, maybe a few decimals less.
